OUR STORY

Built on Decades of Experience

The experience behind Stuff It Limited dates back around 50 years, rooted in a long-established family background in stuffing and soft products. This includes Playtime UK Ltd, which was established in 2004, alongside practical knowledge developed across the wider family business.

Stuff It Limited draws on that experience while focusing on its specialist areas of contract stuffing, product finishing, and compression packing.

Continued investment in people, premises, machinery and production processes has helped create the operation we have today. From our 70,000 sq ft facility in Blackpool, we can support smaller product runs as well as demanding, large-scale production requirements.

Our approach combines traditional family business values with modern production methods. We care about finished-product quality, communicate clearly with our customers, and keep looking for practical ways to improve efficiency.

Soft toys and plush products remain at the heart of our work, but our capabilities now extend to cushions, pillows, pet products, promotional items and other suitable polyester fibre-filled products.

OUR TEAM

Meet the People Behind Stuff It Limited

Specialist machinery lets us operate efficiently, but our team provides the experience and attention needed to achieve consistent results.

From discussing initial requirements and operating the stuffing equipment to checking product shape, seams, closures, and presentation, our people oversee each stage before approving products for packing, storage, or dispatch.

Our production floor has plenty of friendly faces, though many arrive waiting to be stuffed. Behind every product is a team that takes its quality and responsibilities seriously.

QUALITY AND SUSTAINABILITY

Responsible Production, Built to Improve

We are currently developing our formal quality-management systems as we work towards ISO 9001 certification and Global Recycled Standard certification. ISO 14001 Environmental Management certification is planned as the next stage.

OUR VALUES

How We Work

Our values shape how we approach each product and production run.

Innovation

We invest in specialist machinery, compression technology and process development to improve production capacity, consistency and efficiency.

Reliability

We discuss the product, quantities, timescale and packing requirements before production begins. This helps us plan the work properly and provide realistic turnaround information.

Sustainability

We offer recycled polyester fibre and use compression packing to improve storage and transport efficiency. We are also developing our material traceability and environmental-management systems.

Quality

We check products throughout production rather than relying solely on a final inspection. Depending on the product, this can include stuffing weight, shape, sewing, closures, seams, fitted components, appearance, and packing.

Partnership

We work closely with each customer to understand their product and production requirements. We can arrange samples and trials when a product is new, unusual, or has not previously been used with our stuffing systems.

OUR FACILITIES

Large-Scale Production in Blackpool

Our Blackpool premises provide more than 70,000 sq ft of space for contract stuffing, product finishing, wrapping, packing, compression and storage.

From initial production trials and smaller runs through to high-volume programmes, our specialist machinery and production capacity allow us to scale with customer demand.

Lead times are agreed around the product, volume and production requirements, with fast turnaround available where capacity allows.
